Howards Cycles workshop

Our trained technicians are experienced road and mountain bike riders. We cater for all cyclists, from basic maintenance and servicing to upgrades and custom builds.

FAST TURN AROUND

We will do our best to get you back on your wheels as quickly as possible, in most cases the very same day.

We can give your bike a free visual assessment so that you know exactly what condition it's in.

  • Gears & drivetrain components removed, cleaned, adjusted and lubricated.
  • Brake Pads checked, cleaned and adjusted, Rotors and wheel rims checked for wear and damage.
  • Control cables checked, lubed & adjusted.
  • Wheel alignment checked, minor wheel truing, hub bearings free-play checked and adjusted, tyres checked and pressures adjusted.
  • Suspension pressures checked and adjusted.
  • Headset and bottom bracket checked and adjusted.
  • All structural components checked and torque settings set to manufacturers recommendations.
  • Frame and wheels wiped clean.

Gold

  • All Components visually checked for wear & condition.
  • Wheel hubs stripped, cleaned and lubrication reapplied.
  • Bottom bracket stripped, cleaned and lubricated including frame facing as required.
  • Steering - headset stripped, cleaned, checked for wear and lubricated.
  • Drivetrain components removed and thoroughly cleaned.
  • Seat post removed, cleaned and lubricated to prevent seizing.
  • Pedals removed, threads cleaned and greased to prevent seizing.
  • Update Di2 firmware
  • Frame and external components cleaned.

E-Bike
